Where I'd like to be Monday

This is a very special Monday in the fashion industry, the MET Costume Gala. Oh, to get an invite to this celebrity filled event that marries the fashion industry heavy hitters with the art world. Today I wish I were getting glammed up and donning my haute couture to hit the red carpet. Here are a few photos from the event in 2009.

Kate Beckinsale floated down the red carpet in a voluminous tulle gown by Marchesa.


Ashley Olsen looked all grown up as she posed in a dramatic white gown from her twin sister Mary-Kate's label with her boyfriend, Justin Bartha. We're loving her sleek bob!
